Tracking Texas Water at the Texas Book Festival: Seamus McGraw, author of “A Thirsty Land: The Making of an American Water Crisis joins a panel discussion with Hugh Fitzsimons, author of “A Rock between Two Rivers” at The Texas Book Festival. Fitzsimons and Seamus McGraw will discuss the impact of water on the past, present, and future of Texas in this timely, and timeless, conversation. The panel, on Sunday, October 28 (12:00 – 12:45) will be followed by a book signing (1:00 – 2:00 pm) at the Adult Signing Tent.
The Texas Book Festival is an annual event hosted in Austin, Texas featuring 250+ nationally and critically recognized authors, 20+ venues including the State Capitol, 100+ exhibitors, local food trucks, family activities, and countless opportunities to meet authors and fellow book lovers. This year’s festival will be held October 27-28, 2018 at the State Capitol and surrounding grounds.
Seamus McGraw is the author of a few books, including the critically acclaimed “The End of Country: Dispatches from the Frack Zone,” “Betting the Farm on a Drought: Stories from the Front Line of Climate Change,” and “A Thirsty Land: The Making of an American Water Crisis.”
